# Build a Fluxer bot

Fluxerly.js connects Node.js applications to Fluxer.
It supports sending messages, responding to events and building bots in JavaScript or TypeScript

## Start a bot

1. [Create a bot](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/create-a-bot.md): Create the Fluxer application, copy its token and invite the bot to a server
2. [Quick start](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/quick-start.md): Install the SDK and make the bot answer !ping
3. [Build a small bot](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/small-bot.md) with commands, an embed and a welcome message, or copy a complete [example bot](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/examples.md)

The [core concepts](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/core-concepts.md) explain the few ideas behind every guide. For an application that already uses Effect, start with [the Effect bot guide](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/effect-first-bot.md)

## Run it in production

[Configuration](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/configuration.md), [logging](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/logging.md), [deploying](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/deploying.md), [sharding](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/sharding.md), [supervision](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/application-supervision.md) and [testing](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/testing.md) cover a bot that keeps running

## Get unstuck

[Where do I…?](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/where-do-i.md) finds the guide for a task. [Troubleshooting](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/troubleshooting.md), the [error and log codes](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/codes/) and the [FAQ](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/faq.md) help when something fails

## Find a method

The [API reference](https://fluxerly.neontechspace.com/docs/api/) lists the available methods and types.
Use search to jump to a name such as `createClient`
